Edward Poindexter and David L. rice were convicted of first degree murder for the death of an omaha police officer. Poindexters and rices convictions were affirmed on direct appeal. two petitions for writ of habeas corpus by Poindexter have since been denied. Poindexter now appeals from a denial of his motion for postconviction relief. the motion alleged prosecutorial misconduct at trial, ineffective assistance of trial and appellate counsel, and constitutional error stemming from the unitary procedure used at trial. We find no merit to Poindexters arguments and affirm the judgment.
